Wer organisiert das Projekt?
Tytuv279;nai Regional Park was founded in 1992 in order to preserve the picturesque landscape of hills, marshes and lakes, the historical and urban monuments of iluva and Tytuv279;nai, as well as the unique nature and cultural heritage. The territory of Regional Park is spread out at the intersection of Kelm279;, Raseiniai and Radviliskis districts. In year 2015 EVS volunteers of Regional Park organized a work camp, where 15 volunteers lived, worked and had some leisure time in Tytuvenai. Their main task was reed cutting. Reeds are a huge problem in our lakes, because their fast expansion is making lakes to grow older very fast. Separate international work camps were organized in year 2016 and 2017. Volunteers from various countries lived and worked in iluva and Tytuvenai. They were building a little stone wall and fixing a wooden walking path near the lake, cutting reeds and fixing wooden infrastructure in iluva. But not only that i they had some nice excursions and tried out the Lithuanian sauna.
