Composed of two former municipalities that decided to join forces to form one. The town is home to the Ecocycle association, a third place that is developing a participatory activity project in Saint Amand de Coly and the surrounding area. These activities are strongly influenced by concerns about climate change. You will help the association and its volunteers to prepare the building to welcome its members. You'll discover the local people's sense of welcome and the charm of the countryside and heritage, as you work with the other volunteers to organise your programme of activities.

You'll be helping to enhance our heritage by maintaining and cleaning up the riverbeds and rebuilding small dry-stone walls. You'll build a special bond with the local people who live along these waterways, and you'll also be at the heart of a festive energy by helping to set up one of the village's flagship events, "Le feu de la Saint-Jean" (St John's bonfire).

Location and leisure

Village of Cause de Clérans.

Leisure activities: During your stay, you will have the opportunity to participate in local festivities and cultural events, to discover the region and to organise your programme of activities with the other volunteers and the leaders.

Project hosted by

The historical particularity of the town of Cause de Clérans comes from its two market towns, "Cause" and "Clérans", which have been united for a very long time. One had a defensive function with its castle and the other a religious function with its church.
Our international workcamp is waiting for you to perpetuate this age-old link. Together with the locals, we'll be helping to maintain and promote the local heritage, both in terms of the environment and the village's essential festivities.
The spirit of cooperation and conviviality are characteristics that define the way of life around here. Join us and enjoy the good life at Cause de Clérans.

Directions to meeting point

From Bordeaux airport, take a shuttle to Bordeaux-Saint-Jean train station. You will take a direct train to Lalinde (around 1-hour journey)

Work

As part of this project, you'll be helping to build a "self-care" area to complement the facilities already on site. Mainly, you'll be building dry toilets, washbasins, and mirrors for your beauty moments! You'll also develop your DIY spirit by making 99% eco-friendly household products. A great opportunity to try out alternative methods for reducing environmental impact and encouraging more responsible consumption habits.
To make the site more welcoming and, above all, to protect certain areas from the summer heat, you'll start creating a shaded area in the garden. You'll also have the chance to get to grips with the garden, its vegetables and herbs, and put your green thumb to good use.
Finally, weather permitting, you'll get to grips with low-tech toolmaking, and start making wooden games - the big project that will keep our youngsters busy in July. What better way to stimulate your creativity?
There's never a dull moment here! So come and spend two unforgettable weeks and bring Citrus to life with your creations.

Accomodation and food

You'll be accommodated in 8- to 12-person, single-sex collective tents with floors and beds. Amenities include dry toilets and solar-powered showers. A pedal-powered washing machine is available for laundry. There is no wifi connection.
You will take part in the upkeep of the premises and in the preparation of meals, accompanied by an educational supervisor in the kitchen. Choices will be made collectively to ensure a balanced diet based on your tastes and local seasonal produce.

Location and leisure

Near the village of Laguépie (82250), 100 km northeast of Toulouse, between Albi and Villefranche-de-Rouergue.

Leisure activities: In the heart of Laguépie (82250)he Aveyron gorges, you'll be able to take advantage of all the possibilities offered by the Tarn-et-Garonne region: swimming in the Viaur river, accessible on foot, visits to medieval villages, kayaking, visits to Albi cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage site. With the support of the animation team, you'll also organize activities and take part in meetings with the local population: international meals, intercultural games, film screenings, traditional festivals, etc.

Project hosted by

Join the Citrus association's major project and help renovate the Laguépie international welcome center. For over ten years, international volunteers have been building, renovating, imagining, and giving shape to a large-scale project.
On the heights of the village of Laguépie, Citrus is a place of sharing and encounters, where young people from all over the world come to contribute to the renovation and fitting-out of the international welcome center. Since 2012, the association's buildings have been in the former hamlet of La Mayounelle: offices, a communal living space and an activity room, all surrounded by fields, a green theater and a vegetable garden. Accompanied by experienced leaders, you'll live at the heart of the association and share daily life with the Citrus team and other volunteers on site.

Directions to meeting point

There is a direct train from Toulouse to Laguépie. The leaders will be waiting for you at Laguépie train station in the afternoon.

Work

Come and restore the old wash-house on Erretegia beach, on the Basque coast in Bidart!
Together, you'll clean up the area to bring back the wash house walls, make them more solid and recreate the water circuit upstream and downstream of the wash house with stone channels. You will be accompanied by a technical guide who will show you traditional techniques.

Accomodation and food

You will be accommodated in individual tents, with sanitary facilities, a kitchen and a communal living room where you will enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. You will share the various collective tasks and prepare meals together. A budget will be allocated to the leaders, and you will help with the shopping and meal preparation, giving priority to healthy, local produce. WIFI available, laundry done by hand.
Together, you'll help organise community life (cleaning, activities, etc.) and take turns preparing meals using locally sourced produce. We want to encourage vegetarian eating with local, seasonal produce, while respecting participants' diets and discovering local cuisines together.

Location and leisure

Bidart is a commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region of the Basque Country. It is known in Basque as "Bidarte", which means "at the crossroads". It stretches for almost five kilometers along the Atlantic coastline, and its seafront is characterized by long, deeply folded cliffs overlooking several beaches. Bordering Biarritz, it lies twenty-five kilometers north of the Franco-Spanish border.
Throughout your stay, you'll have the chance to discover many of the region's tourist sites, try your hand at surfing and go hiking.

Project hosted by

The worksite is located in the Erretegia cirque, a beach on the Basque coast. It is an area classified as a Sensitive Natural Area, surrounded by cliffs. It can be reached on foot (350m walk) or by bike. It's also part of the coastal path, surrounded by magnificent vegetation. From the washhouse, you'll have a breathtaking view of the ocean. You'll be taking part in the work being carried out by the département to preserve this site, so it's a great opportunity to discover more about the local flora and fauna, as well as learning more about how to preserve the coastline.

Directions to meeting point

The meeting point is at BIARRITZ SNCF station on 12/06 in the late afternoon.
The exact meeting time will be communicated with the route map, sent out no later than 4 weeks before the start of the project.
Several direct trains (about one per hour) leave PARIS for BIARRITZ. The journey takes about 4 hours.

Additional comments

Bring a sleeping bag, a thick mattress, work clothes, walking and work shoes, warm clothing and rain gear, a torch, a swimming costume and sun cream.
If you'd like to share a little of your culture (recipes, traditional stories, unusual objects, music...), don't hesitate to take a little bit of your country or region in your rucksack.

Requirements

Foreigners belonging to the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. If health issues arise on the project, volunteers will have to pay for it, and will then be reimbursed once back in their home country.

Work

The Vercors Regional Nature Park stretches across a vast mid-mountain massif between Isère and Drôme. Come and discover it, and the village of Autrans-Méaudre en Vercors. Its landscapes will take you on a journey. The project will involve restoring a shelter known as "La Bergerie", located on the edge of a footpath and a mountain bike trail. The exact history of this site deserves to be known, as it would appear that in the past this vast area was grazed by sheep. Meadows replaced the present-day forest and there was indeed a sheepfold here, but we're investigating with local residents to find out more.Your job will be to clear the undergrowth around the shelter and consolidate it by working on the masonry. No previous knowledge is necessary. A good dose of motivation and the desire to work as part of a team will enable you to complete this project.

Accomodation and food

You will be accommodated in a chalet equipped with beds: remember to bring sleeping bags. The site is a 20-minute drive from the accommodation. You will then have to walk for 10 minutes on an accessible path, but with some gradients. The group will be supervised at all times by a team in charge of group life and technical aspects, in liaison with our local partners, in particular the eco-guards from the PNR Vercors. Together, you will help to organise group life (housework, activities, etc.) and take turns preparing meals using locally sourced produce. We will use local produce and short distribution channels as much as possible, and will ensure that all participants' diets are respected.

Location and leisure

Autrans-Méaudre en Vercors is a destination renowned for the quality of its environment, the extraordinary wealth of its flora and fauna and the wide range of activities on offer. It is located in the Vercors Regional Nature Park, 15 km from Villard-de-Lans (the main town in the North Vercors Massif) and around 40 km from Grenoble. One of the main activities for enjoying the beauty of the landscape is hiking. A Park eco-guard will be on hand to guide you during your free time. Depending on the programme agreed with the entertainment team, you can take advantage of the nearby swimming pool and outdoor activities such as mountain biking, caving, zip-lining, orienteering, beach volleyball, etc.

Project hosted by

The PNR Vercors has been a partner of Concordia for many years. Each year, this long-standing relationship enables Concordia to introduce the volunteers who join us to a part of the Vercors, a natural territory offering a variety of landscapes marked by history and rich in cultural identity. For the Regional Nature Park, the workcamps are a fantastic opportunity to involve volunteers in its work to preserve natural areas in collaboration with the local communities. In 2024, he will be working with the village of Autrans-Méaudre en Vercors, which is very interested in proposing an intercultural and intergenerational project: young people from the village will come and help on the site for one or two days. In 2025, the elders of the local association Cabane 44 will be in charge of building the roof of the shelter after the volunteer workcamp. They will also visit the site to meet you and create links. The park's main missions are to preserve and enhance the natural environment, and to support the sustainable development of its territory in the fields of agriculture, tourism, culture, energy, mobility, town planning, etc.

Directions to meeting point

Meet at the Meaudre Place bus station in the late afternoon. The bus station is accessible by bus from Grenoble SNCF station. A suggested itinerary will be presented in a detailed info sheet. Train reservations can be made approximately 4 months before departure on the SNCF website, link below:
https://www.sncf-connect.com/

Additional comments

Remember to take closed clothes and shoes for the work, which are resistant to dirt. You'll be sleeping in individual beds: remember to take a sleeping bag as well as a fitted sheet and pillowcase. You should also bring waterproof clothing for your walks. Nights can be chilly at altitude, so pack some warm clothes. Don't forget sun protection (hats, glasses, cream, etc.), a water bottle and your swimming costume for swimming (pools, water sports centres, etc.). If you'd like to share a little of your culture (recipes, traditional stories, unusual objects, etc.), don't hesitate to pack a little piece of your country or region in your backpack and a small Bluetooth speaker to share your favourite playlist!

On the last day (12/07), the departure time is usually set in the morning.

Requirements

Foreigners belonging to the European Union must bring with them a personal EHIC (European Health Insurance Card), and everybody must, in any case, bring their insurance certificate. If health issues happen on the project, volunteers will have to pay for them personally, and will then be reimbursed once back in their home country.

Project hosted by

Vir'Volt stands for InteRnational VolunTeer Village (in French). For 3 years, the organisation has been based in the heart of nature, in the middle of a regional park. By welcoming young people from all over the world each year, the future village is being built around a number of different objectives: getting to know each other and learning from our differences, reflecting and acting together to protect the environment, but also having a positive impact on the surrounding area and people by putting solidarity at the heart of each of our actions. Vir'Volt also aims to become fully eco friendly and sustainable which is reflected in our campsite ; yurts and teepees as rooms, permaculture farming and gardening, water saving projects, reducing and reusing waste. This small village will become great without sacrificing or damaging the surrounding environment whilst always searching better and more eco friendly ways of living.

Directions to meeting point

You can arrive at La Ferté-Alais RER station by taking line D of the RER (suburban train) in Paris Gare de Lyon or Gare du Nord.

Additional comments

You'll be helping to design a friendly, intergenerational leisure area, bringing freshness by planting the site, enhancing the setting : river Tarn, views of the Mont Lozère massif, peace and quiet, and finally making the place welcoming, safe and clean. Several activities are planned for this project. The details of your project will be decided before your arrival, thanks to a final consultation with the local residents. 25h/week.

Accomodation and food

The workcamp will take place in a particularly isolated area, where you will be accommodated in the village gîte or campsite. You'll have access to sanitary facilities and a communal kitchen. If weather conditions deteriorate too much for camping, you'll have access to a shelter. Meals will be provided by the association and prepared in turn by the participants.

Location and leisure

Pont-de-Montvert, the nearest town is Mende.

Leisure activities: Far from the French metropolises, Lozère is nonetheless a very dynamic region. The region's activities revolve around local festivities, concerts and unspoilt natural areas (mountains, rivers, forests).

Project hosted by

The workcamp will take place in the commune of Pont-de-Montvert, near Mont-Lozère in the heart of the Cévennes. The aim of the project is to help build a new town square. This square has historically been home to sports facilities, in particular the former tennis courts in the village. However, since the closure of the tennis courts, this space has been more or less left to its own devices, serving as a parking lot and occasional storage area. Since 2018, the commune has planted trees, hedges and installed a playground for the village's children. Your mission : to continue beautifying and transforming this square so that it becomes a place for village gatherings and activities.

Directions to meeting point

You should arrive at Génolhac train station (30450) on Monday 1st July between 4 and 6 p.m.

A few kilometres from the city centre, you can easily access nature by train or bus, where you can enjoy beautiful walks!

Project hosted by

The La Motte-Servolex community celebrated in 2022 their 20 years partnership with Concordia. Like every year, the project is organised with different services (animations, environment and sustainable development technologies) that will ensure you to be welcomed in good conditions. The city, attached to the agglomeration of Chambéry, is young, dynamic and sporty. The stakes of sustainable development are fully integrated into the policy of the city which is very active in this area (sorting waste, banning plant pesticides, vegetable containers on public property…). It has recently received two new labels: "Territory committed to nature" and "Best small town for biodiversity 2021" around the theme of water and biodiversity.

The projects carried out within the framework of the international projects make it possible to participate in the preservation of the heritage and enhance the surrounding environment. Openness to the world is a desire of the city to promote intercultural exchanges with the inhabitants, especially the youngest ones. If you are between 18 and 30 years old, live in the commune or its surroundings and want to take part in this project, contact the regional representative of Concordia in Rhone Alpes (chantiers.rhone-alpes@concordia.fr).

Work

The work on this workcamp will be divided between the Concorde urban farm and the Lil' Pouss project. In the urban farm, you will discover how a urban farm works, the opportunities it offers and how it operates. You'll help the farm workers with the typical tasks for this time of year (harvesting, weeding, etc.). The other part of the project takes place at Lil' Pouss, a solidarity eco-neighbourhood of tiny houses. There, you'll learn about the project and help build some of the tiny houses' wooden accessories, such as fences and other elements that will help them continue this wonderful project.

Accomodation and food

You will be accommodated together in dormitories. Rooms will be shared and there will be communal areas for conviviality. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag or sheets. Food will be provided.

Location and leisure

The project will take place in Lille and the surrounding area

Project hosted by

Cities are moving in a new direction, and the issue of sustainable living is, fortunately, becoming increasingly present in our society. This work camp will give you the chance to learn more about the ecological transition and energy efficiency. And you'll be able to do all this hands-on, by working on an urban farm and a solidarity eco-neighbourhood.
The weekends will be devoted to discovering the city and to cultural activities that will enable us to enjoy the possibilities that the metropolis has to offer.

Requirements

This project is aimed at volunteers who want to discover a sustainable way of life in the city, aimed at reducing our footprint on the planet through food self-sufficiency and energy sobriety.

In the context of the Olympic Games and Saint-Jean-Bonnefonds benefiting from the Terre de Jeux 2024 label, the town wishes to welcome a new team of volunteers to participate in its commitment to the adventure of the Olympic Games. In this approach and to promote the commitment of young people, you will participate in different activities: Firstly, you will use your artistic spirit by creating a fresco on the wall of the Fay district. You will then help municipal services to paint different pedestrian crossings in the city (varied colors/patterns). Finally, you will be responsible for organizing the Youth Olympiad . Your mission will be to set up, with the municipality s youth center and its supervisors, this event for the opening of the Olympic Games. You will organize the opening and closing ceremonies, the various sporting and cultural activities. These Olympiad will also be an opportunity to present your country and your culture. Four young locals will work and participate in the workcamp alongside you. You will be able to discuss your different cultures and they will show you their town. You will be supervised by municipal agents who will share their know-how with you and will be keen to help you discover the municipality. You will work 4 to 5 hours per day.

Accomodation and food

You will be accommodated in the primary school located in the center of the town. You will have access to toilets, a kitchen area, several sleeping areas as well as the establishment s courtyard. Each volunteer will be required to take an active part in the collective life of the group: preparing meals, cleaning dishes, cleaning toilets and premises. You will go on foot or by bike to the site.

Do you want to get involved in a project and feel useful for the protection of nature?
This is a project that takes place on a departmental site where nature lovers like to go for a walk, to find peace and serenity. Some interpretation trails will allow you to become familiar with the flora and fauna. This place is dedicated to welcoming the public, young and old, but also hosts an agropastoral project. Sheep and wild boar will be at your side. You will be offered the opportunity to carry out various landscaping projects to maintain this exceptional site.
You can create wooden games, make benches, build picnic tables and maintain some of the footpaths.

Accomodation and food

You will be accommodated on the departmental estate. Sleeping in individual tents (bring your own sleeping bag and duvet). A marquee will be set up to accommodate the collective life. There are permanent sanitary facilities on the domain. You will share the various collective tasks and prepare meals together. A budget will be allocated to the staff and you will take part in the shopping and the preparation of the meals, favouring healthy and local products.
Please note that this is an isolated environment in the middle of nature, with no Wi-Fi or washing machine! Make sure to bring enough clothes with you.

Location and leisure

The departmental domaine de Roussieres is located in the Herault region in the village of Viols-en-Laval, north of Montpellier. Located near an exceptional archaeological site (Cambous is the oldest known archaeological site in France), it is also not far from the river and villages with a remarkable historical heritage. You can also discover the village of St Guilhem le Desert on the route of St Jacques de Compostelle, or take advantage of the outdoor activities available near the estate.

Project hosted by

The Herault department is leading an ambitious and voluntary land policy to protect sensitive natural areas. By acquiring certain plots of land, it allows them to be preserved as part of the compensation measures. This estate welcomes a shepherd and his sheep all year round. It also welcomes discovery classes who wish to learn about ecology and education in the environment and sustainable development. You will be charmed by the estate and the surrounding nature.
This is the eighth consecutive year of partnership with the departmental council de l'Herault.

Directions to meeting point

The meeting point is set at the VIOLS-EN-LAVAL “PEYRE CANES'' bus stop, on the 17th of July in the late afternoon. The exact time of the meeting will be communicated with the infosheet, sent at the latest 4 weeks before the beginning of the work.
To reach VIOLS-EN-LAVAL, you will have to go to MONTPELLIER.

Work

Dreaming of lavender fields and Provence? Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux offers you a picture-postcard landscape and the chance to get involved in a project that will plunge you into the history of the town's famous quarries...

What do Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux, Paris, Lyon, Marseille and New York have in common? It's hard to believe that many of the buildings in these major cities still stand on foundations that originated in this small town in the Drôme region. In the 19th century, the quarrying of stone from the south of France was in full swing. The site had specific infrastructures for extracting and transporting blocks of stone, especially to the Rhône. Mining ceased after the Second World War and the site reverted to its natural state as the years went by. Today, the remains of this activity are still present, and there is a determination to preserve them, in order to pass on their unique history. Thanks to their rich biodiversity, the former quarries could become a sensitive natural area in the near future.

Respecting the site, you will be working to complete an inclined surface on a path that has been damaged by rainwater run-off. On a sloping, wooded and rocky site, you will be creating gutters to allow the water to drain away. This work is a continuation of the projects carried out in 2022 and 2023.

If you love nature, history and travelling, this is the job for you! You don't need any skills, but a good dose of motivation and a good mood will make this project unforgettable.

Accomodation and food

You will be accommodated in individual tents near the 2003 municipal stadium, which is close to sports facilities (football stadium, city stadium, skate park, watersports complex, etc.) and close to the town centre. The site will be for the sole use of the group, who will have keys to control access.
The changing rooms will provide separate areas for toilets and showers. A room will be equipped for meals and be used as a shelter in the event of bad weather (heatwave, storms). There will also be grassy, shaded areas where you can enjoy the outdoors. Together, you'll help to organise community life (cleaning, activities, etc.) and take it in turns to prepare meals using locally sourced produce. As far as possible, we will promote vegetarian meals using local, seasonal produce, while ensuring that all participants' diets are respected and that local gastronomy is discovered.

Location and leisure

The town of Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux (population 9,000) is located in the Drôme department, in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, on the axis of the Rhône Valley, in an area with a Mediterranean climate. Drôme provençale is a tourist region with many assets. As well as plenty of sunshine, you'll find an unspoilt environment and a warm, friendly atmosphere as you wander through the narrow streets of the mediaeval town. Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux is the ideal place to discover the Tricastin, Drôme Provençale and northern Vaucluse. The city itself boasts an important cultural heritage with its cathedral, townhouses and archaeological collections. What's more, in and around the town, gastronomy takes pride of place with the Tricastin black truffle.

On the other hand, don't look for the three castles that gave their name to the town, based on a fanciful interpretation of the term tricastin. However, the town does have a rich history, which is now at the heart of our worksite project. You'll have the chance to discover its secrets through guided tours and workshops. There's also a rich cultural programme during the summer, with concerts, presentations of crafts and arts disciplines, etc. As for leisure activities, you'll be able to use the town's many facilities and organise excursions to discover the wider area (Gorges de l'Ardèche, Montélimar, Grotte Chauvet, etc.).

Project hosted by

The town of Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux is attached to its history and heritage. It is a tourist town in the Drôme Provençale region that is also keen to protect the environment. By hosting this third volunteer work camp, Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux aims to reveal the cultural richness of its region by combining heritage and nature.

Directions to meeting point

Arrival late afternoon at Pierrelatte SNCF station, accessible from Marseille-Saint-Charles and Lyon-Part-Dieu stations.

Train reservations can be made approximately 4 months before departure on the SNCF website, link below:
https://www.sncf-connect.com/

Additional comments

Remember to bring gloves and suitable clothing for the job. You'll be working on a steep site, so it's essential to wear hiking boots with raised, notched uppers, reinforced if possible to prevent the risk of injury. For leisure activities as well as on site, you need to bring clothing that is suited to the climate (temperatures can be very hot in summer). Don't forget sun protection (a hat or cap is essential, sunglasses and sunscreen with a high protection factor, etc.) and a swimming costume (no swimming shorts for men) for swimming at the water sports complex or whitewater activities.

For sleeping, remember to take a duvet and a pillowcase (you can put things in it and easily make a pillow). You should also bring a backpack (in addition to your luggage), comfortable trainers and a pair of flip-flops. You'll also need to pack the following essential accessories: a mobile phone charger, a water bottle, a set of bandages and a headlamp or torch.

Social events will be organised in collaboration with our leaders and according to your wishes. If you'd like to share a little of your culture (recipes, traditional stories, unusual objects, music, etc.), don't hesitate to take a little piece of your country/region in your backpack, as well as a small Bluetooth speaker!

On the last day (14/08), the departure time is usually set in the morning.

Work

Take part in the rehabilitation of an old mill, in the charming town of Isle, in the heart of the forest!
You will continue to restore the mill area, clearing weeds, consolidating and solidifying the walls and rebuilding its destroyed parts. The area you will work on corresponds to the junction zone between the stream and the waterwheel mechanism. You will be supervised by a technical leader who will teach you different traditional methods.

Accomodation and food

You will be accommodated in individual tents, with sanitary facilities, a kitchen and a communal living room where you will enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. You will share the various collective tasks (cleaning, activities, etc.) and prepare meals together.

A budget will be allocated to the leaders, and you will help with the shopping and meal preparation, giving priority to healthy, local products. Our aim is to encourage vegetarian eating using local, seasonal produce, while respecting participants' diets and discovering local cuisine together. WIFI is available. The laundry will be done by hand.

Location and leisure

Isle is a French town located in the department of Haute-Vienne in the New Aquitaine region, bordering the town of Limoges, famous for its porcelain, but rich in history and heritage.
The commune benefits from an exceptional living environment where nature is omnipresent.

In the town centre, flowery gardens, green spaces and leisure facilities are to be discovered alongside local shops and services. Just a few minutes walk away, Isle has a rural protected area shaped by the two valleys of the Vienne and Aurence rivers. Throughout the woods, meadows and fields, there are the several castles and manor houses that together make up the town, with an urban dynamism offered by the town of Limoges, only 5 minutes away.

Project hosted by

The municipality of Isle plans to restore an old mill and its miller house in the forest located close to town. To do so, several volunteering works will be undertaken: the construction of a shelter for hunters, an educational room for the leisure centre, a hiking trail and the reactivation of the mill.

Through this project, you will participate in this restoration and you will discover and share a human and cultural experience with the inhabitants of the town. You will also be near the French capital of porcelain, Limoges.
More information: www.ville-isle.fr

Directions to meeting point

The meeting point is scheduled at Limoges-Benedictins train station on the 31st of July at the end of the afternoon. The exact meeting time will be given with the infosheet which will be sent at the latest 4 weeks before the start of the workcamp. On the last day (14/08), the departure time is usually set in the morning.

From Paris, you can take a train from Paris - Gare d’Austerlitz train station, regular departures are scheduled throughout the day to Limoges (about one train every hour). The trip lasts around 3 and a half hours.

If you are coming by plane first, remember that you will need some time to commute from the airport to the train station, therefore we recommend that you arrive early enough for you not to rush and have a stress free travel.
