In this Camp, the Volunteers will maintain ancient monuments on the area of the Historic Technical Museum. The most important monument to be preserved is an old bunker which was build in the second world war. There, 35 people (women, men and two children) survived a bombing in 1943. Also the volunteers will maintain an old underbridge.
Unterkunft und Verpflegung
The volunteers will stay in trainers at a youth hostel. Full board is included. There will be someone cooking for the participants.
Lage und Freizeit
Excursions can be planned, short trips to nearby towns, swimming.
Wer organisiert das Projekt?
This project is organized by NiG e.V., a german non-profit and non-government organization. In this project we work together with the historic technical museum of peenemünde. The Peenemünde Historical Technical Museum is working on the history of the creation and use of weapons during World War II. The exhibitions document who worked in Peenemünde, how people lived and why the enormously elaborate weapon projects were carried out.

We will share specific information on the Covid-19-situation in Germany and our according measures with the info-sheet once you get accepted.
Please bring a sleeping bag, a mattress pad, working clothes and motivation.
