Volunteers will work with local French volunteers to restore the fort, carrying out masonry, painting and maintenance work.
Volunteers will be called upon to renovate walls, paint doors, break up and replace stones in a wall, clean a ditch, erect scaffolding, etc. They can also guide tourists around the fortress.
Activities, workshops and visits are organized in the evenings and during weekends.
The tasks can sometimes be difficult and physical, so volunteers need to be ready to work ! Sometimes under the hot summer temperatures of the East !
