Three large sunbeams enter through the three openings between the three mountains. When the miquelets (Catalan militia men) and Spanish smugglers arrived from Aragon through Rolands Breach, they saw a great light… They named this town light, or Luz.” The municipality has been developing a large project to restore its local heritage, in particular with the organization of international workcamps.
